Freelance Multimedia Journalist
Coverage of the Signing Ceremony at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) in Nov. 2017. Item signed was a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between CCSF and S.F. Sheriff's Dept.
My roles were Reporter, Interviewer, Writer, Editor and Producer. Originally a written article for journalism class, I revised it into a radio news piece and included actualities I recorded the day of. Tools used include an iphone and ProTools.
My first attempt at a podcast to fulfill CCSF's many Audio For The Web class assignments. Using the Education vs. Incarceration piece, I created a mock news channel titled Off The Main Beat. I sandwiched the news piece between introductory music, an introduction to my channel, and fade music.
My roles here were the same as the original with exception to the music. Tools used include ProTools.
First Public Service Announcement (PSA) attempt. Focused on CCSF Mission Campus' cafeteria, the Cafe De La Mission, I crafted this to promote the atmosphere and menu items. My classmates and I interviewed the Cafe's owner and frequent diners. The script was my original creation. The music was researched and selected to reflect and honor the owner's cultural heritage.
My roles here were Interviewer, Writer, Editor and Producer. Tools used include ProTools and a Zoom Mic.
