This voiceover fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to cover this protest because of the local relevance and united response to the ongoing unrest triggered by the Russian invasion.

Cal Lockdown
This voiceover fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to cover this potential threat because the enormous impact it had; it was the news of the day in the Bay Area.

Gas Prices & Climate Change
This voiceover fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to cover this topic because of its relevancy and impact. With the U.S. sanctions mounting on Russia for their invasion of Ukraine, the pain at the pump was rising. The inflation of gas prices placed our reliance of fossil fuel and climate change at the top of national problems to tackle.

Nourishing The Inner Ram
This piece was a PSA that fulfilled an assignment for my Field Video Production course at City College of San Francisco (CCSF). I chose to focus on the CCSF Rams Food Market.
The Market was a pilot program created and managed by CCSF Student Activities in partnership with the Marin Food Bank.
As the Producer, I...

crafted overall themes
-
drafted interview questions
-
scheduled interviews and shoot times
-
surveyed location Graphics, Audio, Director, etc.
-
assigned roles and tasks (Camera, Sound, Color, Lighting,
-
managed legal documents including Consent Forms
Ultimately, I chose to format the PSA as a VOSOT to put a humanistic touch on a sensitive and often stigmatic issue while encouraging support through participation.

Pan American Unity Express
This was my second video project for Intro to Digital Film Editing at CCSF that explored and exercised more intermediate Adobe Premiere functions. Originally a VOSOT, I edited it into a Voice-Over.
My topic was the Pan American Unity Mural at CCSF's Diego Rivera Theater. With over 3 hours of raw video gathered from a team of 3, each person produced and edited their own version from that raw footage using Premiere. All versions could not exceed 5 minutes.
In my version, I broke down the mural's:
-
formal name
-
format/structure
-
artists--Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera
I included select highlights of the numerous historical references and characters featured throughout. I then spotlighted some of the artist techniques used.
The narration and script were also my originals.
